1908, she wrote to a children’s column.

Weekly Gazette, 4 April 1908: DADDY’S CHAT. My dear boys and girls. It gives me
much pleasure to hear that the prizes are so appreciated which have been won

Farndale... I shall expect to hear from these new members frequently, as

First World War with the Royal Army Medical Corps.

in 1964 and was buried at All Saints, Skelton on 7 March 1964 (Skelton PR).

Robert Drake in 1970 and their marriage was registered in the third quarter of
1970 at Howden District (GRO Vol 2A page 379).
Still she had no children.

Drake died, she lived with her sister Grace in Leyburn.

Drake died on 28 June 1981, when she lived at St Matthews Close, Leyburn (Probate Index), near her sister Grace, and her
death was registered in Wensleydale in the second quarter of 1981 (GRO Vol 2 page 2530).
Dorothy A Drake (nee Ross; nee
Farndale), died in Leyburn and was
cremated and her ashes are buried in Leyburn Cemetery. (all from family knowledge)
