1756
Frances Farndale,
daughter of Francis and Margaret Farndale (FAR00135), was baptised at Whitby on 3 September 1759 (Whitby PR). However the record shows that she was 3
years and ten months old at her Christening, so she was born in or about 1756. She
was christened in 1759 with her three siblings.
1786
William Farndale (FAR00207), son of Frances
Farndale was born on 11 April 1786 and baptised at Whitby on 13 April 1786 (Whitby PR, North Yorkshire County Record Office
N-PR-WH1-9). His mother was a spinster, so he was born when she
was single, at the age of 30. He was referred to in the language of the day as illegitimate.
1787
William died aged 13 months and was buried at St Mary, Whitby on 3
May 1787.
1789
Margaret Farndale (FAR00213), daughter of
Frances Farndale, was born in Whitby on 2 May 1789 and baptised at St Mary the
Virgin, Whitby on 16 July 1789 (Whitby PR, North
Yorkshire County Record Office N-PR-WH1-9).
1791
Margaret died at the age of two and was buried at St Mary the
Virgin, Whitby on 22 March 1791.
Frances Farndale married Robert Heselton, at Whitby on 26
July 1791.
1836
Frances Heselton, born in 1756, aged 80, was buried on 20
February 1836 at Whitby (Whitby PR, North Yorkshire Record Office PR/WH 1/48).
Robert Heselton died two months later on 10 April 1836 at
Whitby.
