Francis Farndale, son of Francis Farndale (FAR00135), carpenter, was baptised at Whitby on 13 July 1743 (Whitby PR).

 

1788

 

Francis Farndale was buried in St George’s Chapel, Windsor on 6 May 1788 (St George’s Chapel Registers, College of Arms).

This is intriguing. I have not been able to work out why he might have been buried at Windsor. Perhaps he entered into royal service, but I can find no record.

Some of the other entries are marked poor knight, organist of St George’s chapel, formerly one of His Majesty’s Messengers as well as Dukes.
