was born at Filton, Avon, Gloucestershire in the Sodbury District (just
north of Bristol) on 14 March 1952, daughter of Wilfred and Doris (nee Howard)
Farndale (FAR00769).

left). Wilf used to take his family for walks over the golf course in Filton to
view a massive aircraft hangar at BAC, where the Brabazon had been built.

Seville”. With a cast of 25, the operate, “The Bride of Seville” (an adaptation
of “The Barber of Seville”), by Rossini, was presented by students of the
Girl’s High School.
