John Farndale, son of Robert George and Winifred (nee Sibley) Farndale (FAR00755), was born on 20 August 1940 (death index) and his birth was registered in Bradford in the third quarter of 1940 (GRO Vol 9b page 128).

1955

The Barnoldswick & Earby Times, 16 December 1955 reported John Farndale’s success in achieving a proficient cycling award.

1962

John Farndale, married Brenda Conroy in 1962 and their marriage was registered in the fourth quarter of 1962 in Bradford District (GRO Vol 2b page 227).

1964

Ian M Farndale (FAR01228A) was born in 1964.

1967

 

David John Farndale (FAR01151) was born in 1967.

 

1974

Clair Louise Farndale (FAR01199) was born in 1974.  

2016

John Farndale, born on 20 August 1940, died at the age of 76 on 10 April 2016 (Bradford Telegraph, Death Index).

Bradford Telegraph and Argus, 21 April 2016: FARNDALE John On Sunday April 10, peacefully after a long illness bravely borne, John aged 75 years. Dearly loved husband to Brenda, much loved and devoted dad to Ian, David and Clair, a special grandad and a dear brother. A funeral service will take place at Rawdon Crematorium on Thursday, April 28, at 10.20am. Family flowers only please, if desired donations in memory of John may be made to The Hospice at Home Team, a collection box will be available at the service.
