Edith Farndale, married Kenneth Raymond Hunt Glass on 23 December 1942 at Ripon Cathedral (Kenneth’s army records, media) and their marriage was registered in Ripon District (GRO Vol 9a page 172).

Kenneth Raymond Hunt Glass, the son of Charles Frederick Glass (1876 to 1944) and Ethel Louise (nee Eden) Glass (1879 to 1934), was born on 19 December 1912 and served as an aircraftman with the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers from 18 November 1943 to 17 December 1946.

Brother John and Sister Peggy married on the same day: Yorkshire Evening Post 24 December 1942:

GLASS-FARNDALE. Dec 23, at Ripon Cathedral. KENNETH RAYMOND, son of Mr and Mrs C Glass, of Taunton,Somerset, to MARGARET (Peggy), only daughter of Mrs and the late Mr C F FARNDALE, of Ripon.
