Barbara Farndale, daughter of John
Willie and Elizabeth (nee Todd) Farndale (FAR00591),
was born on 21 April 1922 and her birth was registered
in South Shields District in the second quarter of 1922 (GRO Vol 10A Page 1707).
1931
Her father, John, died in 1931 when
Barbara was only 9.

March 1940: BADMINTON CLUB DANCE, WITHERNSEA
WAR CHARITIES EFFORT. Withernsea Badminton Club held a successful dance at the
Grand Pavilion, Withernsea, last night, in aid of war charities. Over 350
dancers were present, and music for dancing was provided by Ceres Harper and
his orchestra. The MC was Mr K Simpson and among those present were... Miss

Barbara Farndale, married Harry Taylor
in 1941 and their marriage was registered in the third quarter of 1941 at
Heywood District, Lancashire (GRO Vol 8c page 1362).
Harry Taylor, the son of Henry Edward Taylor (born 875) and Mary Jane (nee Dugelby) Taylor (born 1878), was born in Bury, Lancashire
on 30 November 1910.
1946
Their daughter, Barbara Taylor was
born in 1946.
They had a second daughter.
1972
Harry Taylor died at Heywood ,
Lancashire on 18 November 1972, aged 62 (GRO Vol
10c page 1122).
2014
Barbaraa Taylor died in Norden,
Rochdale, Lancashire on 16 May 2014 (another
Ancestry Family Tree).
