1610

Dorothy Baker was the daughter of Sampson and Millicent (nee Goodale) Baker (FAR00017). She was born in or about 1610.

1681 and 1682

There are some Dorothy Bakers who died in or near Coventry at about the right time, but they don’t seem to have been born Bakers.

A Dorothy Baker was buried at Holy Trinity, Coventry on 13 December 1681 (Holy Trinity, Coventry Parish Records). This Dorothy Baker was a widow however, so was unlikely to have been born a Baker.

The will of another, or the same Dorothy Baker was proved on 26 April 1682 in Coventry. However this Dorothy seems to have been the wife of an Edmond Baker of Tiverton (Monthly Meeting of East Div of Devon (Exeter, Barnstaple, Collumpton)).

There was also a Dorothy Baker who was buried at Holt, Denbighshire on 4 February 1682 (Anglican Burials), but she was the wife of John Baker.
