MILL HILL. TWO SISTERS MARRIED. UNUSUAL WEDDING TAKES PLACE AT MILL HILL.

A unique wedding took place at St Michael's church, Mill Hill, on Saturday when two sisters were married at once.

They were Miss Maud Una Foley and Miss Jane Ella Foley, daughters of Mrs J E Foley, of 22 Deans Way, Edgware. The former was married to Mr Philip Pearson, son of the late Mr and Mrs Pearson, of “Royston”, Pickering Street, Loose, Maidstone, and the latter to Mr Arthur Edwin Barnes Farndale, son of Mr. A Farndale and the late Mrs Farndale, of Doncaster.

The brides were both given away by their brother, Mr E Foley, and were attired in oyster satin dresses, with veils and wreaths trimmed with orange blossom, and carried bouquets of white chrysanthemums and pink roses.

They were attended by Miss Nora M Foley, sister, who wore a dress of powder blue silk, with quinoline hat to match. She also carried a bouquet of white chrysanthemums and pink roses. A brother of Mr. A E B farndale officiated as best man to both bridegrooms.

A reception was afterwards held at 22, Deans Way, and later Mr and Mrs P Pearson left for Brighton and Mr and Mrs a E B Farndale for Scarborough, where the honeymoons are being spent.
