Harriet Baker was the daughter of William and Mary (nee Bourne) Baker (BAK00106). She was baptised at St Peter Ad Vincula, Stoke on Trent on 29 September 1794 (St Peter Ad Vincula, Stoke on Trent Parish Records).

 

 

Harriet, married 1825 Henry Cartwright, of Hill Hall, Staffordshire, and died between 1833 to 1846, leaving issue, one daughter. (Burke, John and Burke, Sir Bernard (1836)(Eighteenth Edition, 1972), Bellyse Baker of Highfields in Burke’s Landed Gentry, Volume 3, pages 35 to 38).

Harriet married on 14 April 1825 at St Peter Ad Vincula, Stoke-on-Trent, Henry Cartwright of New Inn Mill, Trentham, Staffordshire (St Peter Ad Vincula, Stoke on Trent Parish Records). It was a double wedding with her sister, Charity.

 

 

They had one daughter, Mary Elizabeth Cartwright.

 

1834

 

Harriet Cartwright died at the age of 39 in 1834 and was buried on 28 January 1834 (St Peter Ad Vincula, Stoke on Trent Parish Records).
