Northern Whig, 1 June 1940 and Londonderry Sentinel, 1 June 1940 reported that
Edward Farndale, then 25, was a musician,
temporarily resident in Ferryquay Street, Coleraine.
On the termination of a musical engagement in Belfast, he had come to
Coleraine. He had an issue with his war time identity card.

The Liverpool Echo 11 June 1943 and Liverpool Echo 13 July 1943 reported that then aged
28, Edward Francis Farndale was a jig and tool
inspector. He got into some trouble over the loss of some tools.

He was on a passenger manifest on a British Overseas Airways
Corporation flight from London to New York on 23 November 1954.
