James Robert Farndale (FAR01004) was born in Chester on 10 February 1946. His mother’s maiden name does not reconcile in the records, but this must be right as James is also referred to in the media below as their son.

Mary Farndale, born 24 May 1912, died aged 64, in Chester & Ellesmere Port District, on 15 October 1976.   

Cheshire Observer, 29 October 1976: MRS M FARNDALE. The death occurred recently of Mrs Mary Farndale of 80, Morton Road, Blacon. She was aged 64. Mrs Farndale, who was a housewife and survived by her husband Mr Robert William Farndale and son James.
