Doesn’t quite reconcile with
the 1881 Bradford record, but seems to be the same
person.

The women's section of the Padiham Labour Party held
a successful dance in the Cooperative hall on Tuesday.
The music was by the Aces Dance Band... Mrs Alice Farndale, 53, of 32 Albert
St, died at her home on Saturday. She had a lifelong connection with the
Wesley Chapel and school. She is survived by a husband and two daughters.
The funeral took place on Wednesday at Padiham church
cemetery. The Rev LW Tattersall conducted the service at the home and cemetery.
Members of Wesley Women's Social Hour attended.

Coquitlam, British Columbia, Canada, when she was 96 years old
FARNDALE. Passed away in hospital August
8, 1978, Louisa Farndale, in her 97th year. Survived by her loving daughter and
son-in-law, Mary and Harold Gangnes;
3 grandsons, Norman, Ted and Glen; 3 great grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs
Dora Morley and Mrs Kate Charters. Funeral Service Friday August 11th at 1 pm
in the Burnaby Funeral Directors Chapel, 4276 Hasting Street, North Burnaby.
