February 1814 at Brotton (Brotton PR & IGI). She was twin sister to Robert
Farndale.

Mary Ann Farndale daughter of John Farndale of Brotton, farmer married John Porritt, a joiner
on 4 February 1843 (Brotton PR) Mary was aged about 27 at her marriage.
In the 1841
Census, John Porritt was a cartwright, aged 25 living in Moorsholm.

In the 1861
Census there was a John Porritt married to Ann Porritt (she could have
been using Ann by then?) but from family, I’m not sure this is the same family.

Mary Ann Porritt died at Middlesbrough
in the second quarter of 1876 at the age of 62.
