John William Farndale, Son of Alice
Farndale (FAR00493) who was
married to John McLean, but their first four children took the Farndale name, was
born in Malton District in 1894. John William Farndale’s birth was registered in
Malton District in the first quarter of 1894 (GRO
Vol 9d page 393).

records, but he appeared as a cross country athlete in Leeds.
