John Farndale son of Joseph Farndale labourer of Baxtergate, Whitby and Margaret Farndale formerly Brown (FAR00285) was born in Whitby on 6 November 1845 (Whitby PR). John Farndale’s birth was registered at Whitby District in the fourth quarter of 1845 (GRO Vol 24, page 539).

1871

John Farndale aged 26 years, bachelor, labourer of Harper’s Yard, 4, Walmgate, York, son of Joseph Farndale, labourer, married Elizabeth Walker aged 21 years, spinster, of St Lawrence Street, York, daughter of John Walker deceased, a corn dealer, at the Register Office, York, on 16 Dec 1871. (MC)

Louisa Farndale (FAR00518) was born in York on 6 July 1872.

1874

Mary Emily Farndale (FAR00529) was born on 5 November 1874.

When Mary was born in 1874, the year of John’s death, he was a carter.

John Farndale, died age 28 at York District in the last quarter of 1874 (DR).
