The Ancestry of the Carlisle Line

At present the Stockport Line can trace its ancestry back to the Carlisle Line, but not further.

Harry Farndale (FAR00688), 1898-1976

The Carlisle Line

William Farndale (FAR00504A), 1870 – 1912

Thomas Olijah Farndell (FAR00423), 1856 – 1914

Thomas Elisha Farndell (FAR00279), 1824 - 1903

At the present time I have been unable to trace the Carlisle line back to older lines of Farndales. With more research I may yet find the link to the direct Farndale history back to 1512. It seems likely that Thomas Elisha Farndale will be linked to Farndales in other lines, and I am sure that all those using the Farndale name, are linked to the early family lines, such as the Kirkleatham Skelton Line, the Liverton 2 Line, the early part of the Kilton 1 Line, and the Kilton 2 Line. I am also sure that all Farndales will share in the medieval ancestry which is described in Volume 1 of the Farndale Directory.
